
As part of the ongoing Privacy Symposium 2025 in Venice, the panel session “Privacy by Design and Accountability: Smart Cities and Administrations” will be held on Friday, 16 May at 9:30 AM.
The session will focus on how data protection is embedded in urban development, showcasing lessons learned, effective strategies, and accountability practices for ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance in smart city environments.
Dr Srđan Krčo, CEO of DunavNET, will contribute to the discussion by sharing insights on how smart technologies can drive the transformation of public services while embracing privacy-by-design principles and strengthening public trust. Panel participants include Thomas Honnet as Chair, and speakers Miguel López-Valverde Argüeso, Heung Youl Youm, and Dr Srđan Krčo.
