As part of TRACEWINDU, the collaboration between DunavNET and the University of Pisa (UNIPI), Italy, continues through new research exchanges within European projects. PhD researcher Andrea Marianelli from UNIPI has joined DunavNET for a three-month secondment focused on exploring how AI can be applied for product quality prediction.
His research, “AI for sourdough bread quality prediction,” explores how artificial intelligence can support product assessment and innovation in the agri-food sector. During his stay, Andrea will collaborate with the DunavNET team on adapting and testing AI models as part of ongoing research and development activities.
TRACEWINDU aims to improve traceability in the wine industry by developing an innovative system to certify origin and quality through integrated labelling of typicality, health-protection effects and organoleptic attributes, under the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions.
