On January 16, 2025, the second webinar in the COMMECT series was successfully held, bringing together agriculture professionals and technology enthusiasts to explore innovative tools shaping the future of farming. The webinar showcased cutting-edge solutions designed to empower farmers and promote the adoption of digital agriculture practices.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about the Shared Digital Agriculture Platform, a community-driven solution providing real-time data on environmental and soil conditions. This platform helps farmers with insights for irrigation, disease prediction, and resource optimization. Additionally, the Decision-Making Support Tool (DST) was presented as an AI-powered agronomy assistant that offers personalized advice via messaging apps.
The session featured insightful presentations by our colleagues Spasenija Gajinov and Nemanja Mišić, who explored the benefits of the shared platform, and Daliborka Nedić, who demonstrated the transformative potential of the DST.
