The 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association and AIOTI hosted a webinar yesterday to promote their joint White Paper on the Role of 6G in Agriculture. Srdjan Krčo, our CEO, participated in the webinar, representing the COMMECT project. Srdjan presented the activities in COMMECT Living Labs, which are held in Denmark, Norway, Turkey, Luxembourg, and Serbia.
The webinar addressed the key role of digital technologies, particularly the 6G network, in transforming agriculture and food production. It covered topics such as the digital transformation of the agricultural sector, the role of the 6G network in enabling greater productivity and sustainability, and the future of agriculture with concepts like autonomous vehicles, drones, and indoor farming. Sustainability aspects in the context of 6G technology and the results of specific EU-funded research projects were also discussed.
